Dawod Hisham Gharaibeh

Dawod Hisham Gharaibeh

My name is Dawod Hisham Gharaibeh.

I was born on May 13, 1974, in Prague, Czech Republic, but spent much of my youth in Jordan, where I eventually graduated from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 1997 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Electronics and Communication. Shortly after, I moved to the United Arab Emirates and joined Emirates Telecommunication Corporation (Etisalat), where my career in mobile networks truly took off.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of telecommunications, working on projects spanning from 2G to the latest 5G networks. A highlight of my career was in 2006, when I was seconded to Egypt for two years to help establish Etisalat Egypt. This experience was both challenging and rewarding, giving me the chance to work on a large-scale telecom launch with a dedicated team and truly put my project management skills to the test.

In my role, I’ve developed expertise in project management, quality assurance, and international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, and TL9000. I’m also a certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, which has allowed me to ensure our projects consistently meet rigorous quality and compliance standards—something I take pride in.

Dawod Gharaibeh the CryptoDad

My curiosity about new technologies led me to the world of blockchain and Web 3 in 2017. Since then, I’ve been mining cryptocurrencies and expanding my knowledge through certifications in blockchain and digital assets. Recognizing a gap in Arabic-language resources on these topics, I founded CryptoDad.me, a website focused on educating the Arabic-speaking community on Bitcoin, blockchain, and related technologies. It’s been incredibly rewarding to make these complex topics more accessible and bridge that knowledge gap.

Today, I live in Abu Dhabi with my family, fluent in Arabic, English, and Czech. My journey in telecommunications and emerging tech has been both challenging and exciting, and I’m committed to staying at the forefront of these industries as they continue to evolve.

Dawod's Blog

Finally, I also like to write in my Blog just for fun 🙂 My writings include fiction, imagination, interesting facts, and real life hacks, and it is worth mentioning that all my writings and ideas are translated to the Arabic and Czech language, I use automatic translators, so sometimes the translation is not perfect, but I hope it is readable for all of my audience
